Welcome to George’s Flowers New Wedding Blog!

George’s Flowers first opened as “George’s… an affair with flowers” in Salem VA. A move to downtown Roanoke 6 months later when George Clements acquired the former Noble’s Flowers business location at 430 Church Ave. A later change to the name was made to help with getting the long name and logo on printed material and reducing the time to answer the phones! George’s at times has operated satellite locations. In Valley View Mall during the first 5 years of the mall. A small but really cool space in the Roanoke City Market Building was given a short trial run. George’s Flowers purchased Floral Renditions in April 2008 and eventually consolidated both shops into one Design Center location. Located behind the Ramada Inn a short walk from the shop location. The Design Center location gives us much more warehouse type space for our large Walk-in Coolers, a special flower processing room using the latest equipment to make sure our flowers are given everything they need to show their full potential and last for our customers. We have additional storage for rental wedding equipment and vases, baskets, permanent botanicals, plants, as well as well more parking for delivery, employee and customer vehicles. We operate a customer service area at the design center and everyone is welcome to visit and shop from our coolers during business hours. Marmalade our shop kitty also calls the George’s design Center home. Welcome to our new Roanoke, Virginia Wedding Flowers...
